We supply stainless steel fasteners in a variety of grades to suit a wide range of applications.
Grade 304 (also known as A2 or B8) is one of the most commonly used stainless steels. With a composition of 18% chromium and 8% nickel, it offers excellent corrosion resistance and is widely used across general engineering and commercial applications.
Grade 316 (A4 or B8M) offers enhanced corrosion resistance, thanks to the addition of molybdenum and a higher nickel content. This makes it particularly suitable for more demanding environments, including chemical processing, marine settings, and medical equipment.
While both grades offer similar mechanical properties, 316 provides superior protection against aggressive chemicals, acids, and chlorides — making it the preferred choice where corrosion resistance is critical.
